God's Monsters is the debut novel of the series The Oddyseys of an Eternal Creature, written by Sinara Ellis and published by 4 Horseman Publications.

We've all read the usual vampire stories of beautiful, bloodsucking men, women, and children with strange eyes and fangs in various emotional states of being, avoiding the sun, and giving into an uncontrollable hunger at the cost of human life without care.

God's Monsters breaks up and shakes up the usual vampire fare by combining other global monster legends mostly forgotten over the centuries.

Every country, except Japan, has some vampire-like creature in its legends. These stories have been passed down through generations only to disappear and never gain footing in the zeitgeist.

Movies, books, and television shows have drowned us in European vampire tales for so long that Ms. Ellis felt it was time to give some attention to other monsters in the hope that we might also find some love for them.

Enter the Asasabonsam, the winged monster that pulls its victims into the trees at night and drains them of blood. It is an Afrikan legend long whispered into the ears of children who dared to look past the fires of their villages and into the darkness. Meant to keep them safe, the story was mostly lost to time.

Now, it is awakened.

God's Monsters is Interview with a Vampire meets The Vampire Diaries but spans three centuries and several continents, taking the reader through actual history.
